Hej and Welcome to Kvarnviks Gård!
We are Christian and Axel, a couple married since 2016, who have fulfilled a dream with the purchase of a beautiful farm in Skåne. Together with our twins Henri and Hauke, who will soon turn three, we look forward to moving from Stockholm to the countryside in January 2025 and beginning a new chapter of our lives – with more nature, more space, and the opportunity to realize our dream of living and working in the countryside.
Who We Are
Christian is originally from Zingst on the Baltic Sea and lived in Finland for five years before moving to Sweden in 2010. Axel comes from Schwerin, and we have now been living in Sweden for 15 years, specifically in Stockholm. We got married in Sweden in 2016. Our paths crossed in 2007, and since then, we have been a team – with many shared interests and a passion for new projects.
In 2022, our family grew when our twins Henri and Hauke were born. They are the center of our lives and the reason we decided to create a place where they can grow up carefree – surrounded by meadows, forests, and a community characterized by hospitality.
Our Dream of Farm Life
Kvarnviks Gård is a historic place with character. The main house dates back to 1907, and the barn was built in 1923 and modernized in 2015. Both exude a rustic yet modern charm. The spacious rooms, the traditional clay brick house, and the vast landscape immediately captivated us. Here, we not only want to live but also welcome guests and share the beauty of Skåne with them.

Our farm is idyllically located in Beddingestrand, right by the sea, with chalk-white beaches at your doorstep and is also a perfect starting point for exploring Southern Sweden – just a short drive from Malmö, Trelleborg, and Ystad.
The Skåne region offers kilometers of beaches, charming coastal towns, and beautiful national parks. Whether you want to relax, explore nature, or discover something new – you will find exactly what you are looking for here.
Our accommodations are cozy, modern, and offer a view of the green landscapes of Skåne. Whether enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee in the morning or ending the day with a glass of wine in the evening – here, you will find the perfect setting. For families, there is plenty of space to play, and Henri and Hauke are already looking forward to meeting new playmates.
Our Path to the Future
We are still at the beginning of our project and look forward to sharing this journey with you. With every guest who comes to us, our farm becomes more alive. Our wish is to create a place of inspiration and relaxation – for you and for us.
